On the first mile I had my best time ever of 10:20. Throughout the race instead of the usual 3R/2W that I do, I pretty much ran till I felt like I had to take a break and then walked a minute or two. Came out to an overall average 11:84 per mile pace which I was happy with!
The best part, we did it. We finished and felt good. It was a good confident boost as January gets closer and closer!

And on a cool side note Dick Hoyt ran the race too. I have watched him for years push his son in a wheelchair during the Boston Marathon. They are an inspiring pair and Dick at 68 is FAST! It was really cool to see them in person and watch them in action.
