I have started this and can't put it down!
It is fascinating if you are into the history of how Walt Disney World came to be. It talks about the process they went through of deciding where to build, acquiring the land and the secrecy involved, the unbelievable scope of the construction process and all the difficulties that came along with it. It talks about Walt's real vision for Epcot and what he wanted it to be. That really was his passion and dream. If you are a Disney freak or geek, go pick this one up if you haven't already!
News on my trip, I am going to get to meet an internet friend I've known for sometime! F is a Mom on the October 99 board I have posted on since, oh 1999. She lives not too far from Orlando and will be meeting me my first night there for dinner in the Boardwalk area. I'm really excited to meet her!
It is a gorgeous day here in MA. R is out for his run (today is my day off), the girls are drawing and J is playing Wii Fit. Boy do we love Wii Fit! What a cool thing this is! Yoga, strength training, cardio and balance all wrapped up in a very interactive game. It is really something!
We have no plans today, just puttering around, maybe going for ice cream later. The girls are marching in the parade tomorrow so I really should try and get the rest of their Girl Scout badges on their sashes before then. But that would mean sewing and well, that just isn't my forte'. I'll have to figure something out. Stapler anyone?
