Cool book for Disney Fans....

Here is a cool book a friend referred me to. If you are a Disney fan you'll enjoy as it gives lots of neat tidbits and background info on areas of the parks.
They have one for Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Animal Kingdom. They don't yet have one for Disney Hollywood Studios. I'd like to get them all and take them with me on my trip. That way I could look things up as I am touring. And they are small and compact enough to easily carry with you.

I am already signed up for the Keys To The Kingdom tour and I'm really looking forwar to it. It is 5 hours in the Magic Kingdom and you get to learn how some of the rides work, see backstage areas and best of all go in the Utilidors. Those are the underground tunnels where all sorts of things take place behind the scenes. Lunch is included at Columbia Harbor House and I have heard the guides that do this tour are really fantastic. I know this will be a highlight of the trip for me!

It is cold here, I wish someone would tell Mother Nature that Memorial Day is this weekend and to get things warming up. We had one glorious week in April of 80' temps and then it seems it has just been cool and grey most of the time. We had to bring fleece blankets to the softball game last night. Crazy. Another game tonight, this time for K and it is 40 minutes away. Absolutely insane.

In month we leave for Maine. It will be so nice to see our friends and feel the salty air. There is something about pulling in to our house there. You just feel the responsibiities and cares of your life completely melt away. No place else makes me feel quite like it, not even Disney. Maine has a special calming, comforting quality about it. Maybe because I've been going forever, it is predictable and full of tradition. Maybe because we go with our friends, it is a week we always look forward to and treasure. I don't know what the secret is really but in a month we'll be there and that is a good thing.

On an unrelated note, tonight is the battle of the Davids! Who will win? How will they do? I heard my David is doing a U2 song tonight, looking forward to that. What will I do when this show is over?

Well, i have no time to check that book out seeing as I am heading there in less than a week. WE ARE SO EXCITED.

I understand the feeling of "beach" air and of course we love DISNEY (some people just don't get it).

Summer is a great time ... I hope you have a wonderful one.
