We've got em! Not human babies but baby robins! A Mama Robin built her nest this spring in one of the bushes just outside our front door. We have been watching her. We can peek out the living room window and see her. She often spies us though and flies away. I feel so bad when that happens. Well tonight I went out and in the past I would carefully, ever so carefully, peek in when she was away and I could see tiny blue eggs. Well tonight I peeked in and brand new babies. It appears to be at least two, hairless with tufts of fuzz. It is amazing. The kids want to see so bad but it is hard at the angle and I can't quite lift them the right way. I don't want to reach out and bump the bush and disturb them. I might try and snap a picture if I can. Right now Mama is out there in the nest with them.
Nature really is amazing when you stop and take the time to really observe. God is good.

That's NEAT, A! We had a beautiful woodpecker out back last week. It was amazing. I'm hoping we see it again.
