David is Cookin'

Can he get any better? Can he? Oh my I loved his Neil Diamond "All I Really Need is You", as soon as it shows up it is being added to the playlist. I can't imagine him not winning this thing. I voted about 20 times for him last night, when I could get through.

Jason, oh poor Jason. He just is lackluster. I know mellow is what he does but lately it is more like "Do you have a pulse dude? ". He just lacks that spark, that "it" factor, and he doesn't really know how to entertain on a stage. He sings nice enough and I could see playing his CD when I was sitting on my deck on a warm summer night drinking a Pomegranate Beer (Michelob, tried it a few weeks ago, girly beer, delish) and reminiscing but that is about it. I think he is on the chopping block.

Brooke, ugh. I hated her "I'm a Believer". It was cheesy and dorky and I thought a bad choice for her. Who doesn't hear that song these days and think Shrek? Her second song was better but again, I'm feeling like her time has come.

David Archuleta, yeah, I'm over him too. I thought at the beginning he could win, and perhaps with legions of texting teen fans he still can but he is always the same. I am noticing a robotic-ness about him. I don't like that he does that weird lip licking thing or always has that Stepford Wives-ish smile. And I thought he butchered "Sweet Caroline". Ick. As a Boston Red Sox fan that song is near and dear to my heart (as well as my ringtone on my cellphone) and I thought he cheesed it up so badly. I wasn't a fan of "America" either.

Syesha was looking a lot like Halle Berry I thought with the straight hair. I liked her, I really think though that Broadway is where she will end up. I don't see her winning this but I do see a future in musical theater for her.

So my pick for the boot tonight? Toss up between Jason and Brooke.

And my random thought for the day----I can not stand holier than thou, judgemental people.
